Speaker Amplifier: Indoor and outdoor speaker amplifier stations can provide page line integrity monitoring, internal diagnostics and trouble reporting, automatic speaker volume adjustment based on ambient noise level at speaker, and supervision of speaker wiring and voice coil for open or short circuit. Also, a SmartSeries™ Speaker Amplifier with Remote Terminal Unit can provide the added benefit of interfacing with the SmartSeries Control Unit to monitor inputs such as pullboxes or smoke detectors, and activate outputs such as strobes. EX ICS Explosionproof SmartSeries™ Stations provides two important plant communication functions in one durable, easy-to-operate package, offering paging, and five line intercom capability. Through the page function individuals can be contacted anywhere in your facility. For further communication, the party line function allows
two or more people to converse without being heard over
the paging speakers.

Remote Monitored Input/Output Modules: used to communicate with an ADVANCE cabinet via the system page line in exactly the same way as SmartSeries™ handset stations and speaker amplifiers. No additional cabling is required and distances of up to one mile from the ADVANCE cabinet is possible.
